In silver gilt and enamels, a white armed cross pattee, the obverse medallion featuring a hand painted scene of St. George slaying a dragon, the reverse medallion bears a central monogram, measures 40. 5 mm (w) x 46. 2 mm (h), marked with swan punch denoting silver manufacture and importation from countries without a trading contract to France since 1893, worn on replacement ribbon,
