Constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered gold bullion wire inscription of 8. I. MATROSEN=DIVISION. I. 8., unmarked, measuring 3. 5 cm (w) x 117 cm (l), demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, a scarce example issued to a marine equivalent in very fine condition.
